I can provide walking tours in all areas of London. These can be tailored to your particular requirements.

For example, you might wish to organise a walking tour that starts at your workplace, or favourite pub and ends up at a particular restaurant. As long as it's do-able, I'll do it!

Please bear in mind that most walking tours will last between 1.5 hours and 2 hours. They can also be combined with visits to museums, galleries or other places of interest.

Here are some ideas of 'ready-made' London guided walking tours. But please contact me to discuss any ideas you may have.

The Hidden City of London

You have to search hard to find the Old City of London. Just one square mile in size, it's the oldest part of London, but at first, all you can see are modern skyscrapers mushrooming across the horizon, in what is now one of the world's top financial districts.

But wander through the hidden alleys and courts of this ancient city and you'll start to catch glimpses of its 2000 year old history.

Walk further, and you'll be transported - you'll hear the roar of the crowd as the Roman gladiators fight to the death; you'll shiver in anticipation as the intimidating Norman victors arrive in town, throwing their weight about; feel the heat as London burns down to the ground, and share the sense of despair as the rebuilt London is shattered again.

We weave in and around churches that, in the mediaeval times, were packed with the holy and devout. As we brush past those who are praying for their six-figure bonuses. you'll start to really feel what makes the City of London really tick.

At the chimes of Big Ben

Amazingly, most of the really BIG sights of London, can be seen in a 2 hour walking tour. Yes, tick them off your list. Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Downing Street, Horseguards, St James's Palace. In that time, you'll have taken all the photos and had the lowdown on all the sites.

An ideal introductory walking tour of London, or if you only have a couple of hours to 'do' London.
